We have an excellent opportunity for a talented, ambitious electrical engineering co-op with good people skills. This is a paid co-op that is expected to last at least a semester in length beginning January of 2024, however we can be flexible with timing. In this role you will: The Electrical Co-Op offers exposure to a variety of engineering experiences and tasks including, but not limited to, supporting aesthetically pleasing lighting designs with technically competent analysis, designing the power distribution and/or lighting design for commercial, institutional or healthcare facilities, performing electrical engineering design calculations, researching code issues and working with City, State and County officials, as well as analyzing reports, drawings, tests, and other data to plan and design work, using engineering and design software to complete your work. You will need to have: Applicants must be pursuing an engineering degree in Architectural Engineering (with an emphasis on electrical systems) or a degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program, and must be entering junior year or higher of undergraduate degree or currently enrolled in grad school. Knowledge of electrical analysis software (i.e. ETAP, Easy Power, Dapper / Captor) and AGI and/or Visual Pro required. Knowledge of Revit is preferred. GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred. Salary Information: The pay range listed aligns to the geography of the office for which this position is posted. Actual compensation will be based upon work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
