Electrical Controls Engineer General Summary: ControlsEngineering working for a rapidly growing custom automation company thatmakes equipment for the Life Sciences industry. Responsibilities includeprogramming & commissioning the control systems for R+D CustomAutomation systems. This includes definitions of all electricalcomponents and testing operation of the machinery to ensure it meets allthe criteria set by the customer and by R+D Custom Automation. Travel isrequired up to 20%. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, butare not limited to: 1. Produce error free, cost-effective drawings. 2.Develop PLC and HMI applications. 3. Meet timelines and budget given forassignments. 4. Be innovative in designs, looking for increased qualityand cost effectiveness. 5. Assist service department with quoting andprocessing Bill of Materials. 6. Assist sales department with quotingprojects, including field inspections. 7. Generate detailed ECNs asrequired. 8. Assist project managers in the design and detailingportions of projects. 9. Assume project engineer responsibilities forsmall to medium size projects. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE ANDQUALIFICATIONS: Qualifications: 1. Bachelor\'s degree in electricalengineering or 5 years control systems experience. 2. Proficient inusing the current release of AutoCAD. 3. Thorough understanding ofPLC\'s and programming 4. Thorough understanding of HMI\'s andconfiguring 5. Knowledge of control components (sensors, motor controldevices, etc.) 6. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook. 7.Establish and maintain good working relationships with others within theorganization. 8. Establish and maintain good working relationships withoutside customers. 9. Be dependable. This includes minimal absences andgiving the effort required to get the job done. 10. Follow and maintainall company policies and procedures. 11. Good written and verbalcommunication skills. 12.
