Job Description:
At GDIT, our people make a difference. AS a TROJAN/PROPHET IEW Electronics Engineer you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on an IEW Electronics Engineer joining our team to support C5ISR Communication- Electronics sustainment efforts for Trojan and Prophet/Prophet Enhanced systems across the European theater of operations.
HOW AN IEW ELECTRONICS ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Performs maintenance and repair services including, but not limited to, fault diagnosis, removal and replacement of line replaceable units (LRUs), Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS), screening, repair, overhaul, refurbishment, retrograde, installation of systems, customer support, calibration, and alignment for all C5ISR systems and associated support equipment in scope of the task order.
Perform support maintenance operations to support the CECOM mission worldwide, both in peacetime and during contingency and wartime operations.
Analyze customer needs and determine the requirements, course of action, and cost for developing a repair/remediation plan for their IEW systems.
Inspect electronic equipment, instruments, and electrical sub-systems to make sure the meet safety standards and applicable regulations.
Partner with other internal and/or external stakeholders as well as clients to ensure projects are successfully completed within specifications.
Stay abreast of emerging trends and technology. Travel for training may be required.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Required Experience: Meet TESA Accreditation requirements, A Bachelor’s Degree plus 3 years of recent specialized experience, OR; An Associate’s Degree and/or Major Certification plus 7 years of recent specialized experience, OR; HS Diploma and 11+ years of recent specialized experience.
Required Technical Skills: USAF AFSC 1BXXX/3DXXX/ETC or US Army MOS 35T/35S/ETC or similar and general familiarization with HVAC and Generator Maintenance. The ability to troubleshoot and resolve faults on IEW system LRUs.
Security Clearance Level: Active Top Secret/SCI with the ability to obtain Polygraph Required Skills and Abilities: Must be able to communicate and have problem solving skills
Preferred Skills: Security + Certification
Work Location: Germany with 25-50% travel required to other European countries
US Citizenship Required.
