  Role description:

  In this role, you will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with key and emerging clients who need electric vehicle (EV) related solutions. Your primary focus will be on understanding client needs, promoting our solutions, and ensuring client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background in transport technology and electric vehicles and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  Role Accountabilities:

  Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients in need of electric vehicle solutions andsupport the ongoing development of our EV Value Propositions including Fleet Electrification, EV Strategy, and EVCI (EV charging infrastructure) design and engineering amongst others. Will be able to create new VPs to respond to the NA EV market growth areas.Understand clients' business objectives and technical requirements to provide tailored solutions andto create a pipeline of EV opportunities through to Pursuit to Win.Act as a technical liaison between clients and our technical advisory and engineering teams, offering insights and guidance on electric vehicle technologies.Provide technical consultations and presentations to clients regarding our technical advisory and engineering capabilities and services.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful execution of projects, meeting, or exceeding client expectations.Advise and support with project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful pursuit outcomes.Identify and pursue new business opportunities for existing and new clients needing electric vehicle technical advisory and engineering solutions andidentify MandA opportunities and partnership opportunities in North America.Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for expanding our client base along with providing feedback to internal teams on market developments and client needs.Stay informed about industry trends, advancements, and competitive landscape within the electric vehicle engineering domain.Prepare and present comprehensive proposals for EV related solutions, addressing client requirements and project specifications, and negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions.Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and effectively while ensuring a high level of client satisfaction through regular communication and relationship-building efforts.Required Qualifications:

  5+ years of experience in the electrical vehicle industry.10+ years of experience in a transport, engineering or sustainability consulting role.Candidate will be widely recognized in the US Electric Vehicle industry as being a thought leader with a wide network of connections and a history of delivering EV initiatives.Key Skills and Abilities:

  Recognized leader in US EV field.Excels at speaking at EV events and ability to participate in EV-related forums.Proven experience in account management, business development, or sales within the electric vehicle or automotive engineering sector.Strong technical understanding of electric vehicle technologies and engineering principles.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and run a community of practice.Results-driven with a focus on exceeding client expectations.Familiarity with project management methodologies is a plus.Willingness to travel as needed.Preferred Qualifications:
