Description**Ideal candidate must work Eastern Time Zone hours.Job Summary:The EHS Course Content Developer will maintain, update, and develop EHS training programs on our remote team contracted to GE Vernova.The responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:Essential Responsibilities:Develop EHS classroom online training content using industry accepted instructional design and adult learning principlesUpdate and maintain EHS training programs in accordance with regulatory, regional and business-specific updates and changesMaintain a thorough working knowledge of EHS topics, regulations, and Corporate Region EHS policies and proceduresResearch and apply new learning technologies as they become availableMaintain teaching proficiency/certifications for course content developed, as neededAssist with scripting, developing and editing of EHS videosAssist with processing of translations for developed contentRequired Qualifications Experience:2 year technical or science degree OR related technical experience2-4 years in EHS learning fieldAbility to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyStrong Microsoft Office skills including PowerPointStrong project management skillsAbility to work in a fast -paced work environmentStrong communication/presentation/writing skillsExperience with video editing softwareDesired Characteristics:Experience developing and teaching Environment, Health Safety topics to adult learnersStrong background in multiple EHS-related fields, such as electrical safety, Lockout Tagout, Incident Analysis, and AuditingCompensation and Benefits:The hourly wage range for this position is $24.86 to $42.26. Employees may be eligible for overtime.
