The Ayer Neuroscience Institute at Hartford Hospital is expanding our EEG services as we develop into the highest level Comprehensive Epilepsy Center. We are expanding our outpatient and inpatient services for people with seizures, including a program for surgical treatment of epilepsy. Our reputation for providing complex and innovative care to those in need is built on the foundation of excellence in patient care, teaching and research. The team is committed to creating an innovative patient centered delivery system that continuously improves quality care. The EEG Tech providers are part of a multidisciplinary team that delivers care for this complex population. We seek enthusiastic, motivated people to join the energetic learning and working environment in our EEG lab, where our focus is providing the most sophisticated care available, with a personal touch. Our team has experience training and educating technicians with no prior experience. We combine on-the-job-training with online curriculum and person-to-person review sessions to ensure people learn all the necessary skills to have confidence they are providing outstanding care. Our goal is that all our technologist become registered by ABRET, the national board for EEG technologists, and develop their job into a career!
