　　Tech Lead, Software Development Engineering

　　As Web UI Tech Lead, you will work on of Ondot’s critical web applications that will be used as a front end for all financial institutions who are Ondot’s customers to manage their end customers. You will coordinate with your team members – both on shore and off shore in executing the project and delivering it on time. This is an exciting position for a candidate who likes to innovate, lead, collaborate and still be fully hands-on.

　　Ondot is a high-growth Fintech company headquartered in Silicon Valley in USA, with marquee global customers, a dominant presence in USA, and an expanding international presence in Latin America. Ondot offers a premium solution for consumers to manage, control, and interact with their payment cards. From a smartphone app, consumers can set preferences for when, where, and how their payment cards are used; interact with real-time alerts; get contextual advice and offers; and perform self-service actions. Ondot is a white-label solution that is offered as a branded solution by financial institutions to their customers.

　　Responsibilities:

　　· Providing technical expertise for every phase of the project lifecycle; from concept development to solution design, implementation, optimization and support.

　　· As a Technical Lead, you are expected not only to be strong technically and roll up your sleeves, but also provide technical leadership to major projects and mentor a team of engineers.

　　· Apply mastery of the software engineering discipline and industry best practices and creativity to effectively design, implement, and support

　　· Work cross-functionally with various teams: product management, quality engineering, and across various product lines to deliver.

　　· Drive design and architecture decisions for the project.

　　Requirements:

　　· 8+ years of experience developing, maintaining, and innovating large scale web apps and services with at least 2 years in a technical lead role.

　　· Expert knowledge working with the following technologies: Javascript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS

　　· Multi-language experience preferred – Java, JavaScript, Python

　　· Knowledge of enterprise frameworks (e.g. Node.JS, Angular, React, Polymer, etc).

　　· Must understand which framework to use when what is the best framework for the given application requirements.

　　· Expert-level knowledge in object-oriented modeling, analysis, design and programming using Java.

　　· Strong experience with unit testing & test-driven development (TDD)

　　· Strong understanding of software design & architecture

　　· Strong experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologies.

　　· Experience in Banking and Card payment is preferred.

　　· Experience in building ADA compliant web applications is preferred.

　　Education:

　　BE Computer Engineering, or similar degree from a top tier institution
