JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Description: Purpose As an Education ProgramCoordinator I in the School of Pharmacy you will collaborate withCo-Directors of Professional Labs, Pharmaceutical Science Faculty, andother members of the School of Pharmacy to organize and conduct teachingactivities in professional practice and pharmaceutics laboratorycourses, under close supervision. Primary Functions Collaborate withfaculty to train standardized patients and implement skills-basedsimulations, organize and prepare laboratory spaces for instructionaccording to faculty direction, assist in student instruction duringsterile and non-sterile compounding laboratory Maintain workingunderstanding of accreditation, board, and institutional requirements.Coordinate and monitor activities related to these requirements toensure full compliance. Support Lab Directors, Assistant Dean, and otherleaders on issues related to the requirements from accreditationagencies, national boards and affiliates. Provide information, supportand problem solving for faculty and students during laboratory sessions.Maintain database(s) to track, schedule, and record activities relatedto the institution, program(s), and learners. Coordinate recruitment ofpreceptors, instructors, and speakers. Create brochures, flyers,handbooks, and other educational materials.Coordinate skills-basedcertificate programs, clinical examinations, interprofessional educationactivities related to patient care labs, and other educational events.Ensure laboratory spaces meet safety regulations and that all equipmentand supplies are properly stored. Coordinate laboratory supply andequipment ordering including non-sterile and sterile compoundingmaterials. Collaborate with administration to stay within budgetaryguidelines.
