Summary About the Position: This position is located with DoDEA Headquarters, Office of the Director, Education Research (Research, Accountability Evalauation Division Assessment Branch) in Alexandria, VA. Responsibilities Develop policy for the agency's system-wide assessment program. Conduct training sessions. Design assessment materials using knowledge of current trends and best educational practices worldwide. Coordinate and participate in the development and/or adoption of new assessments used to attain student performance. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes assisting with drafting policies, training and guidance; conducting ongoing technical reviews of policies to ensure they are up to date; and providing support by evaluating accessibility and accommodations for a K-12 assessment program. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify.
