What You’ll Get to Do:
CACI is searching for an Editing Manager to join our Production team—working either remotely or near Reston, VA. This is a Working Manager role, in which you’ll contribute your editing and management skills, Federal proposal experience, ability to adapt, and intense focus in support of work that spans the entire organization.
More About the Role:
Manage a group consisting of full-time, part-time, and part-time on call (PTOC) editors.
Schedule resources for editing support in an extremely busy editing group.
Manage the main project calendar for the Production Group; prioritize, track, handle, and maintain records of projects.
Provide or identify point-of-contact coverage for weekends.
Provide ongoing feedback to editing staff on editing performance.
Identify ongoing training needs of the editing staff and develop training materials.
Mentor direct reports.
Oversee the editing of material for CACI corporate and proposal-related documents.
Coordinate with other editors to ensure that project tasks are completed on time.
Identify areas for continuous process improvement, with an emphasis on quality and efficiency.
Work with executives, department heads, and other staff to formulate policy, coordinate department activities, and solve editorial problems.
Edit complex proposals by reviewing content for completeness, accuracy, correctness of language, inconsistencies of thought, development, and organization; revise proposals to meet predetermined standards of style and accuracy.
Collaborate with production manager, proposal manager, and graphic designer as needed to obtain items for publication, verify facts, and clarify information.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Typically has a University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and 3+ years related work experience.
5+ years of editing experience.
Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Ability to focus on the work at hand while responding promptly to frequently changing requirements, deadlines, tasks, and instructions.
Ability to work occasional nights and weekends.

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $68,400-$143,700. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
