Position: E-Commerce Senior Product Manager – IT Business Partner
Primary responsibilities will include:
Manage, deliver plan, build and run activities of the Global e Commerce Product Model.
Collaborate with a Product Owner
Interpret the business needs and communicate with the IT team.
Plan technical upgrades with the Solution Architect to keep the product relevant.
Work with the IT Project Manager to collaborate with all IT Vendors to understand dependencies and plan work for boundary releases.
Help IT Project Manager with roadblocks in getting in touch with the cross teams for support, if there are any gaps.
Work with the PMO team for the status and risk associated with each sprint and escalate as needed.
Develop a deep knowledge of the BD technology stack and acquire knowledge of existing/current state design and capabilities of all related technologies.
Establish and earn value-adding, partner relationship maturity for yourself and for the IT function.
Identify and define new opportunities to use technology and/or process re-design to advance e Commerce strategy to directly contribute to driving revenue growth, cost optimization and/or risk mitigation and compliance.
Advocate for the business within IT, and advocate for IT within the business. Serve as the primary representative and accountable party for all e Commerce services across business team members.
Collaborate with other teams and external partner teams to define, document, analyze and prioritize existing and emerging business requirements.
Complete the projects/improvements/deliverables needed to implement technology, processes, or services to meet business requirements including the documentation, testing and implementation.
Manage and facilitate IT partner teams to ensure delivery provides the desired outcomes.
Partner with e Commerce Global Product Model team members to understand BDX level evolution of channel needs and keep partners informed of emerging needs.
Work with other IT Business Partners and Core Areas of Delivery in e Commerce to ensure that solutions are not siloed
Implement projects and report progress, including consistent and effective communication, change management impact analysis, readiness and effectiveness, cutover and launch support. This includes handling partner concerns and mitigating risk.
Measure and communicate value realized on a periodic basis through defined and agreed upon metrics and supporting analysis.
Facilitates and collaborates to Deliver Business Outcomes
Lead and collaborate with fellow business partners on the demand/s from ideation through Charter phase for the Global e Commerce product/s and services. Fully understand and communicate evolving BDX level e Commerce roadmaps and how they converge at BU level products.
Work closely with the project management office to ensure the execution of plans corresponds with the project or product lifecycle.
Works closely with the product owners to ensure a robust architectural runway that can support future business requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
Provides business analysis support to solution architects to ensure the project or product is aligned with the overall enterprise architecture.
Consults with application and infrastructure development projects and products
Collaboration with Solutions Design and Analysis
Reviews documented detailed business requirements for projects to ensure accurate requirements, then collaborates with Solution Design teams for evaluation, design, and analysis for the implementation of a solutions architecture.
Contributes to architectural designs to guide and contextualize solution development across products, services, projects, and systems (including applications, technologies, processes and information).
Analyzes the business-IT environment (run, grow and transform the business) to detect critical deficiencies, legacy, and technical debt, and recommends solutions for improvement (systems of record, insight, differentiation, and innovation).
Orchestrates Solutions Delivery
Directs the governance activities associated with ensuring solutions architecture assurance and compliance.
Facilitates the evaluation and selection of software product standards and services, as well as the design of standard and custom software configurations following the enterprise architecture direction and principles.
Supports service managers in EOL (end of life) product decisions to maintain, refresh or retire products, services, or systems (including applications, technologies, processes and information).
Monitors the current-state solution portfolio to identify deficiencies through aging of the technologies used by the application, or misalignment with business requirements.
Identifies the organizational impact (for example, on skills, processes, structures, or culture) and financial impact of the supply chain solutions architecture.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate has worked closely with business while in IT function and will bring a combination of strategic understanding, both business (functional) and technology experience, and have exceptional relationship building skills.
Candidate should be familiar with functioning in a large matrixed organization and has the ability to quickly establish key relationships within IT and with the business
In addition, the incumbent should also possess:
Expert level functional/technical working experience in SAP Commerce Cloud, Adobe Experience Manager required
Minimum of at least one full lifecycle implementation of SAP Commerce Cloud/Hybris and/or AEM required
4+ years of experience in a technology or process organization
Deep understanding of e Commerce business, preferably in the MedTech industry.
Working knowledge in Open Text Web span (Liaison), SAP, MuleSoft Anytime Platform, Paymetric
Leader with vision in IT that connects business needs with technology solutions and enables business partners contextualize ‘the art of the possible’ while staying within architectural safeguards under guidance of architecture team
Good understanding of product management, agile or hybrid agile principles and development methodologies
Good knowledge of processes, technology, and data across multiple functional subject areas
Ability to facilitate solution discovery, blueprint outcomes and lead multiple improvement efforts keeping a service and customer focused mentality.
Ability to influence and break down silos within an organization as well across organizations
Ability to communicate complex business / technical challenges in a simplified manner.
Exceptional ability to lead change using positive and collaborative methods.
Experience working in a highly matrixed organization and overcoming ambiguity.

EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in technology, business or a related field is preferred
Certificate or training in e Commerce/Omni-channel operations is a plus

There are many factors, such as location, that contribute to the range displayed. The salary offered to a successful candidate is based on experience, education, skills, and actual work location.
