JOB PURPOSE
The shift from physical stores towards online eCommerce and new related e-business models, is exploding exponentially. Today consumers subscribe for 'convenience' with products delivered straight to their home; the rise of disruptive start-ups (UberEATS, Deliveroo, Amazon) offering these services, is altering the business landscape, and broadening the range of competitors we and our retailers must compete with to serve consumers. The development of new digital capabilities and skills to stay competitive in this space is business critical for Unilever to continue to be a win and lead in this digitally enabled world. The New Revenue Streams (NRS) is a team managing & expanding our presence across marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, Groupon, deal sites), beauty pureplay (THG, ASOS, Feel Unique), and new models & business opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the growth of NRS in the UK. Build & lead the strategy for 'where to play' & 'how to win' in NRS within your portfolio across Beauty.com customers and Marketplaces such as THG, eBay and Amazon.Build and develop existing and new strategic relationships with key partners, taking them to the next level.Build & execute Commercial and Marketing plans to build our brand equity online (e.g., Brand Content & Digital Media campaigns both on and offsite)Develop our Distributor ways of working to incentivise growth and grow share.Work with the Amazon team to develop a 1P/3P strategy to maximise Amazon marketplace. Lead customer strategy development and major customer initiatives. Unlock and drive new 2P RTM capabilities, defining a clear portfolio strategy between 1P, 2P, 3P.Work with the eCom Digital Hubs to build & activate online Events, launch NPD and drive core of the core activations.Deliver key Category initiatives across channel & customers e.g., Cost Price Changes, Brand Activation, New product launches and All Year-Round Gifting, and Unilever Sustainable Living Plan campaigns etc.Work with Finance & Supply Business Partners to identify scalable & sustainable supply models to support the growth of NRS Be accountable for financial performance. End-to-end P&L responsibility to deliver consistent, competitive, and profitable growth.Deliver Underlying Sales Growth (Turnover), Customer Profitability and Market Share growth.Management of BMI spend to deliver aligned targets across Search and DisplayDeliver short term volume and spend forecast aligned to our monthly forecast process - securing the opportunities to accelerate growth and manage risks.Build the Talent & capability within the team. Develop direct team of 2x CAE and 1x IP.Inspire the broader Business teams on the opportunities and insight in the channel & from new partners.Drive capability across the wider Amazon and NRS team as well as driving better knowledge and understanding in the wider businessALL ABOUT YOUAs a pioneer within the eCommerce team, you'll serve as an ambassador through-out Unilever and enable our success.You'll have strong leadership skills and ability to influence key senior stakeholders.A high level of energy and curiosity, with the insatiable appetite for learning.Relevant years of high-performance experience in CPG sales and marketing.eCommerce account management experience preferential.Excellent negotiation skills, the ability to influence and have impact, creatively craft, and build brands and businesses.Sharp Financial acumen to own a P&L, deliver monthly and annual business targets as well as judgement, creativity, and insight to assess and build new business models and ideally having led Net Revenue Management programmes.Digital Experience - proven track record or experience of building brands digitally/omni-channelExperience of managing and developing talent within and outside of your direct team.Proof of strong Judgement, Drive, and Influence is a must.
