　　Echo Technologist I

　　As our Echo Tech you will operate ultrasound equipment and perform a variety of technical diagnostic procedures which encompass the

　　specialty area of Echocardiography. To be successful in this role, you must have a solid knowledge of imaging equipment and proper patient positioning to produce and analyze quality images.

　　You’ll continuously strive to deliver a positive experience to our patients.

　　The Woodlands Hospital is a 245 bed non-profit facility providing quality health care to patients and communities in and around The Woodlands, Texas. 　　Responsibilities

　　Performs ultrasound diagnostic imaging on patients according to the specific departmental procedure protocols

　　Prepares equipment ensuring that equipment is operational, safe and functioning Actively Participates with patient testing, performing routine, non‐routine, urgent, and emergent patient requests

　　Performs portable examinations at the bedside to ensure patient safety as well as provide immediate diagnostictesting when needed

　　Qualifications

　　Associate’s Degree OR one year certificate from a healthrelated program in a related medical field, which includeseminar course training in cardiac ultrasound preferred

　　Registered by American Diagnostic Registry for MedicalSonographers (ARDMS) as RDCS OR RVT or Registered byCardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as RVS or RCS
