  Your Impact as A Proposal Intern

  The proposal Intern p artners with proposal managers to ensure proposals and presentations are visually impactful, brand compliant, and grammatically correct. This position will require you to develop a practical and working knowledge of Aon’s risk services (including but not limited to property, casualty, management liability, marine, and aviation brokerage and consulting).

  Job Responsibilities:

  As a Proposal Intern, you will assist project managers with client-facing proposals and presentations for our Aon Commercial Risk Solutions business unit. Duties include writing, revising, proofreading, and editing proposals and presentations specific to client situations. As a proposal Intern you will also coordinate with SMEs and support ad hoc requests.

  Required Experience:

  Writing, proofreading, and editing experience

  Demonstrable background in developing custom strategic content

  Proactive in identifying effective methods and solutions for issue resolution with positive outcomes

  Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment

  Quick study, detail oriented, flexible, and adaptable while working both independently and as a member of a collaborative growing team

  Develop relationships with effective communication

  Proficiency in Microsoft office products such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook

  Skills and experience that will lead to success

  Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0

  Great teammate with independent work capability

  Involvement in extracurricular activities

  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  Desire to learn and embody Aon’s values: integrity, client commitment, and community dedication

  Critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills

  Qualifications:

  Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree; m ajoring in English, Journalism, Marketing, or related fields in communication

  Rising senior, graduating between December 2024 – June 2025

  The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $20.50 to $23.50 per hour. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.

  Aon offers a benefits package for temporary and seasonal employees who will work 20 or more hours per week including: medical, dental, and vision insurance at the employee’s expense, critical illness insurance, 10 Company holidays per calendar year (paid, if eligible), paid sick leave as provided under state and local law, and a 401(k) savings plan with employer contributions. Eligibility for benefits are governed by the applicable plan documents and policies.
