　　Basic Job Functions:

　　The EAF 3rd Helper is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the furnace at all times. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

　　Performing minor maintenance repairs

　　Performing regular equipment inspections

　　Operating forklifts, cranes, bobcats, man lifts and other equipment

　　Taking steel and slag samples and preparing and analyzing slag

　　Working as a team to clean and organize the furnace deck

　　Minimum Qualifications:

　　Prior EAF 3rd Helper experience.

　　Previous Melt Shop experience.

　　Overhead crane experience.
