In this role, you are a vital member of the Digital Experience team, providing direct support to the development and implementation of Digital Experience roadmap. This role requires a customer-focused, data-driven, strategic, tech-savvy, and passionate communicator who strives to help patients & health plan members effectively engage in a variety of digital experience initiatives. This position is remote within the state of Texas. Employee must travel on-site periodically per the direction of the Vice President of the division.
As a Product Owner of the digital experience platform, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle for all products within the platform, encompassing health plan experience capabilities such as operational workflow support, member portal enhancements, and member experience elevation.
You will help set the overall vision for the platform that is aligned with stakeholder needs. This includes building technical requirements, writing user stories, and prioritizing the backlog. This position provides leadership in the development and application of technical, software and process knowledge, ensuring that the needs of our customers are understood and comprehensively defined, enabling us to deliver solutions that continue to meet the strategic and business goals of the organization and deliver a consistent and quality experience to our customers. Expected activities include but are not limited to:
closely work with product managers to understand and assist in the development of the product vision, strategic product direction, and product roadmaptranslate business requirements into epics, features, user stories & tasks with accompanying acceptance criteriaresolution of problems and issues associated with any technology or application that impacts our customers' experiencesthe definition and development of KPIs, metrics, and reportsmonitoring the effectiveness of solutions, applications, and related technologies in meeting user requirementsdevelop test plans to ensure that solutions will meet defined requirementsmaintaining an awareness of vendor and industry development/plans that impact our experience responsibilities
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required.
Must meet one of the following:
5 years experience in an IT role providing application, data or workflow analysis with progressive experience.5 years experience in a clinical role with responsibility for implementing or optimizing workflows utilizing one of the modules supported.5 years experience in a Marketing Technology role with progressive experience.
Preferred:
2+ years working as an agile product owner3+ years working with a patient portal with an in-depth understanding of widely used featuresEpic certifications in MyChart, Link
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Proven success in internal and external communication and relationship management with all levels of expertise, from administrative to executive.Strong communication skills that provide transparency, define/set expectations as well as reporting on resultsAbility to structure vague concepts into concise actionable plansAbility to influence change and create consensus in making decisions
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification:
Relevant Information Technology, experience, or virtual health certifications preferred.Epic certification required within 6 months from employment, including 2 test retakes.If position does not support Epic, then a bachelor's degree is required in lieu of an Epic certification.
