At Merakey, we put heart and soul into everything we do.We are seeking a Bilingual D&A Therapist to join our team at our program in Philadelphia, PA (West Philadelphia.)Earn $25.51/hour.Plus, there's a $7,000.00 SIGN-ON BONUS!Position DetailsProvide individual therapy and group therapy to persons in recovery (PIR) receiving MMT, MAT, and non-MAT services. Maintain a caseload ensuring PIRs are getting the services needed to support sobriety and recovery. Strong clinical skills with ability to provided individua therapist and facilitate group therapy. Ability to assess clients and refer them to services based on need. Manage a caseload of up to 35 clients completing required documentation timely. Establish rapport and maintain professional boundaries. Ability to engage and re-engage clients in services. Demonstration of core clinical competencies such as, but not limited to: attending, active and reflective listening, use of open-ended questioning, focusing, building rapport, congruency, summarization, managing silence, empathy, rolling with resistance, supporting self-efficacy, managing confrontation, and developing discrepancy. Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:Associate's Degree in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, psychology, addictions studies, social work or related field and 2 years of counseling experience in a health or human service agencyOR Bachelor's Degree in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, psychology, addictions studies, social work or related field and 1 year of counseling experienceOR Master's Degree in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, psychology, addictions studies, social work or related fieldEmployees must complete and maintain certification and/or license required by regulations and offered by Merakey within the required timeline. Failure to successfully complete and maintain license and/or certification and associated continuing education requirements will prevent you from being able to fulfill this role.
