　　Position Summary

　　Operates light passenger vehicles, vans, pickup trucks, box truck etc.,to transport passengers, materials, merchandise, or equipment within anindustrial area. Loads and unloads trucks by hand or by use ofmechanical devices such as hoists, pumps, lifts or winches. Performsmiscellaneous errands such as carrying mail to and from post office andacting as chauffeur or courier. Requires a valid driver\'s license. Mayrequire a commercial driver\'s license.

　　Essential Duties and Responsibilities

　　Deliver and pick-up aircraft parts, material, tools and assembliesLoad, unload, and move products to appropriate work center(s)needing productObey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportationproceduresFollow safety procedures for vehicle operationTurn in fuel receipts and receipts for incurred vehicle expensesInspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment such as gas,oil, water, tires, lights, or breaks to ensure that vehicles are inproper working conditionRuns, maneuvers, navigates, or drives vehicles or mechanizedequipment such as forklifts and cranesLoad, transport, and deliver items between company locations in asafe and timely mannerReview job travelers before and after delivery to ensure the ordersare correct and completeProper loading and securing of critical aviation parts fortransportation is a must.
