Responsible for delivery or pick up of a variety of items to various locations.Coordinate daily routes efficiently.Load and unload any cargo following safe lifting practices.Ensure that the delivery vehicle and any associated equipment remain clean, and in good working condition.Communicate regularly with clients or suppliers to ensure accuracy in deliveries and pick-ups.Responsible for paperwork associated with deliveries and pick-ups, from receipts to confirmation notices.Performs simple vehicle maintenance; cleaning interior of vehicle, checking lights, checking tires, filling fluids, scheduling routine maintenance to keep vehicle running properly.Responsible for driving hours logs.Assist with PO creation for jobs going to subcontractors.Adherence toroad safety rules and regulationsDriving hours are estimated between 20-30 per week.[In addition, when individual is not performing driver responsibilities, it is expected of this position to support Shipping and Receiving Department with the following:]{calibri",sans-serif"=""}
Process inbound and outbound shipments including but not limited to sorting, logging, packing, unpacking, and shipping.Audits shipments to ensure that goods match order and/or receiving document.Prepares shipping documentation/Processes all receiving transactions and paperwork.Inspects all incoming freight for damage and follows-up with purchasing to resolve any damaged freight issues.Performs other related duties as assigned by management.[Qualifications:]{calibri",sans-serif"=""}
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Must have a valid drivers license.
Box Truck driving experience is a plus.
Ability to work independently with little supervision.
Attention to detail
to verify the correct items are delivered or picked up from/to the right location.
