　　GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES

　　The Driver II performs door-to-door transportation services for elderly passengers from residence to variouscommunity facilities, medical appointments, recreational activities, and essential shopping trips.Assists passengers in and out of vehicle and with personal effects such as coats, hats, mobility aides, etc.Assists passengers to door at destination.Maintains records of gasoline used, mileage, and passenger usage.Performs routine vehicle maintenance checks and daily/weekly safety checks.Cleans vehicle for safety and comfort of passengers and oversees the general well-being of elderly clients who use the service.Transports mail and equipment and supplies from one location to another.QUALIFICATIONS

　　Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent.Experience:Must possess a valid/current State of Michigan Chauffeur's license.Must have acceptable driving record per Saginaw County policy.Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certifications within 6 months of hire
