Job Description

　　The Warehouse Associate/Backup Driver works at the direction of the Warehouse Manager & Fleet Manager and will be responsible for working where/as needed by the Warehouse Manager to assist in DC operations when not over the road and then will be responsible for executing route deliveries to our customers when over the road under the direction of the Fleet Manager .

　　Job Responsibilities

　　Locate and move products to fill customer orders via RF guns and/or paper.

　　Retrieve orders and pick in the assigned section provided via the RF gun and/or paper.

　　Check the appearance and accuracy of filled orders on a timely basis.

　　Pick a minimum of 1,000 lines per day or as stated by manager and business needs.

　　Must have minimal to no miss-picks on a daily basis.

　　Provide a quality check on all orders for any misprints, false quantities, non-stocked items, partial quantities, or double orders, and follow correct department picking order.

　　Perform an inspection of all products for evidence of dents, dust, and/or blemishes prior to picking the order.

　　Properly arrange merchandise in boxes for safe and accurate delivery.

　　Pads, stacks, and secures items in position on truck to prevent damage during shipment.

　　Delivers merchandise on customers? premises via pallet jack, dolly, and/or by hand as necessary and obtains receipt for goods. Verifies load against shipping papers.

　　Drives truck to destination applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and roads in area.

　　Maintains truck log according to State, Federal and Company regulations.

　　Performs thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections as required by Federal regulations and notes any issues as they may arise.

　　Maintains telephone contact with Supervisor.

　　Does not use Truck or Company fuel/credit card for any personal matters.

　　Qualifications

　　Knowledge of RF scan functions is desirable

　　Knowledge of stacking procedures

　　Knowledge of safety procedures

　　Arrive at work on time based on assigned hours via management

　　Ability to read and understand orders and write legibly.

　　Must have an "Active DOT Medical Card" or be able to obtain a "DOT Medical Card"

　　Clean personal record (no felonies)

　　Driving record with minimal/no incidents (no DWI?s, DUI?s, fatalities, etc.)

　　Prior experience operation trucks with ELD and ELD related software (preferred)

　　Education

　　High School Diploma
