Description

　　Open to either Chicago or Wheaton office

　　As the Audit Manager, your primary responsibility will be managing and supervising comprehensive audit projects for our not for profit and government clients. Your role is integral in the proper execution of audits in compliance with established regulations and standards, ensuring that all financial statements are accurate and comprehensive.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Supervise, manage, and lead the planning and execution of audit engagements, ensuring they are performed in accordance with professional standards.

　　Review and prepare audit work papers and reports including recommendations for improvement in controls and optimization of operations.

　　Provide guidance and leadership to junior audit team members, promoting a constructive environment for learning and professional growth

　　Maintain productive relationships with clients, demonstrating a thorough understanding of the client's business and anticipating client issues and concerns.

　　Provide timely feedback to team members, conduct performance evaluations, and prepare audit strategy memoranda.

　　Participate in new business development activities including presentations.

　　Promote a culture of high performance, accountability and quality through all audit processes.

　　Requirements

　　Qualifications:

　　Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field. Master's degree or CPA certification preferred.

　　Minimum of 5 years’ experience in public accounting.

　　Substantial experience in managing governmental and not-for-profit audits.

　　In-depth understanding of generally accepted auditing standards and common audit procedures and techniques.

　　Strong leadership skills with a commitment to develop and mentor team members.

　　Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

　　Excellent project management, communication and presentation skills.

　　Proven experience in managing multiple client engagements simultaneously.

　　Strong business development skills are a plus.
