We are seeking a Driver Experience Manager to join our operations team to lead efforts to understand driver behavior, drive engagement, and foster loyalty among our driver-partners including taxi drivers.
As an integral member of the Uber Hong Kong team, this role requires a unique blend of data-driven skills and hands-on experience to truly immerse yourself in the driver's world. The ideal candidate for this role should have excellent communication skills, strong leadership, and analytical skills.
What You'll Do:
Deep dive into driver data: utilize your analytical skills to analyze driver behavior data, identify patterns and draw actionable insights. Develop strategies based on data to improve driver engagement and satisfaction.Be close to on-the-ground sentiment: spend time with driver-partners, listening to their feedback and understanding their sentiments. Use this experience to inform your strategies and initiatives.Build relationships: Act as a bridge between our company and the driver community. Interact with drivers, understand their needs and concerns, and develop programs to address them. Foster a sense of belonging and loyalty among our driver-partners.Lead a team: manage a small team of operations executive. Provide guidance, support and coaching to help them excel in their roles. Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and implement innovative ideas to engage driversDevelop driver engagement initiatives: create and execute creative initiatives to enhance driver engagement, brand love and loyalty. This may include organizing driver roundtables, events, rewards programs or other driver-focused activitiesSupport product/feature rollouts: adapt products and features to Hong Kong to improve driver experience in coordination with operations and product teams all over the worldBe a passionate advocate for all driver partners. Be able to answer questions that come your way in a fast-moving environment
The Skills You'll Bring:
Fluency in Cantonese and English required4+ years of deep, hands-on management of functions e.g. operations / growth, preferably in operations management / management consulting / investment banking / startupData-driven decision mentality with strong analytical thinkingExperienced in interpreting and presenting data to various audiences; ability to translate quantitative findings into action plansExcellent people skills to work with cross-functional stakeholders, manage junior team members and engage the wider driver-partner communityExcellent Excel skills. SQL, coding, or other programming experience are strong plus
