Duty Location: Billings, Montana For living conditions go to: https://www.usbr.gov/gp/employment/living_conditions.pdf Responsibilities Serves as the Drill Rig Operator Supervisor, overseeing all Exploration Section personnel and serving as the Regional Expert in drilling methodology. Supervises and leads all drill crew personnel to ensure successful completion of environmental, engineering, and construction geologic and hydrologic exploratory programs throughout the region. Acts as resident expert in drilling and auguring methods and sampling techniques. Coordinates drilling, auguring, and high-pressure drain cleaning operations for all crews working in the MB Region. Requirements Conditions of Employment You must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National. You must be suitable for federal employment, determined by a background investigation. You must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with tanker endorsements at the time of application and is a condition of employment. A physical exam may not be required if a comparable agency approved examination was performed within the last 12 months. The cost of the exam will be reimbursed by the agency.
