We are currently seeking a highly-skilled Sewing Machine Operator for our d rapery workroom in our newly built, state-of-the-art, high-end custom drapery workroom/showroom in Woodstock, GA . 

　　The ideal candidate will have strong sewing and fabrication skills with a willingness to learn new methods and techniques. They will have high attention to detail and excellent organizational and communication skills. Must be self-motivated and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. 

　　 The Offer 

　　$18/hr - $23/hr depending on experience  

　　PTO and Paid Holidays 

　　Paid in-depth training 

　　Full-time position (Part-time may be considered for the right candidate)

　　Schedule options:

　　Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

　　Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

　　Tuesday - Saturday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

　　 Responsibilities 

　　Fabricate different projects ranging from soft window coverings, bedding, and cushions 

　　Use industrial sewing machines and hand-stitching techniques to complete projects

　　Communicate clearly with a team to ensure projects are executed accurately and promptly

　　Facilitate troubleshooting on problem jobs  

　　Oversee quality and ensure projects meet specifications 

　　Maintain a clean and organized work area 

　　Load and unload heavy bolts of fabric and drapery projects as needed

　　Qualifications 

　　Proven experience sewing, measuring, and working with fabrics

　　Previous drapery workroom experience a plus

　　Basic math and computer skills

　　Proficient in reading measuring tools and determining accuracy of outcome

　　Impeccable hand stitching techniques and/or willingness to learn

　　Experience using industrial sewing machines and other sewing equipment 

　　Clear and professional communication skills 

　　Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time  

　　Valid GA Driver’s License and clean driving record  

　　Ability to lift minimum 30 lbs.
