  Summary DON Pathways Internship Program You will serve as a STUDENT TRAINEE (MECHANICAL ENGINEERING) in the DESIGN DIVISION of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC. This is a RE-ADVERTISEMENT of Announcement Number: DE-12259753-24-KLW. Applicants that have previously applied NEED to re-apply to this announcement. Responsibilities You will assist in updating mechanical engineering drawings and collects technical data for inclusion in engineering studies and reports. You will assist in preparing reports, charts and graphs for presentations of mechanical operational and production characteristics, procedures, efficiencies, conditions, trends and functions. You will perform analysis and calculations using standard mathematical formulas and standards, researching and collecting technical data. You will assist engineers and technicians by developing project scopes and estimate costs from site plans and specifications. Education Applicants must meet the following positive education qualifications requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: Applicants must possess 2 full academic years of post-high school study or an associate's degree. This position is being recruited at the full performance level. Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may be authorized to eligible selectees.
