What You'll Be Doing

　　The Document Controls Specialist is generally responsible for document management for projects and personnel. This work will be performed under close supervision.Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

　　Document management of electronic files for distribution including scanning, converting between different software packages, printing, and copying.

　　Researching files and records to locate appropriate documents as requested.

　　Responding to client requests of all types.

　　Tracking the flow of documents via Newforma databases.

　　Generating activity reports as required.

　　Assisting Project Managers with administrative tasks as necessary.

　　Ideal Background

　　High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Advanced coursework is preferred.

　　EMC Documentum and WebSphere certifications preferred.

　　Requires up to 5 years of relevant industrial experience in document control and administration.

　　Knowledge and application of company standards.

　　Knowledge of engineering document control standards.

　　Knowledge and understanding of construction plans and diagrams.

　　Knowledge of large-scale scanner and plotter operation.

　　Ability to organize effectively.

　　Extreme attention to detail.

　　Excellent listening and communication skills, both verbal and written.

　　Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Web Collaboration Tools and Adobe Acrobat. Documentum software experience preferred.

　　Exceptional customer service skills and ability to comply with client procedures.

　　Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time.
