As part of the North AmericaCycles & Procurement Indirect Spend team, the primary purpose of thisposition is to manage industrial services and supplies for Danone NorthAmerica. This role will include defining and activating the best suppliers andsourcing models, to meet or exceed key Danone business targets and drivecash growth through productivity and payment terms optimization.The position will be based in the USA with flexibility to travel across NorthAmerica 20% of workdays.The Industrial Services and Supplies Sourcing Manager will be responsible tobuild and implement sourcing strategies in alignment with management forspecific categories related to MRO, Industrial Services, IndustrialSupplies (spare parts, services, and operating supplies formanufacturing plants), and Lab Services, and Lab Supplies.Support, collaborate and implement the sourcing strategies for respectivecategories.Support activities to increase spend visibility and understanding.Support growth through identification and implementation of adaptedpartnerships with retained suppliers, to improve industrial services andsupplies proposition.Create internal and external synergies by identifying opportunities andmaximizing TCO (Total Cost of Ownership).Facilitate and drive sourcing decisions through development and implementationof appropriate tools and processes.Define sourcing strategy through market studies to identify best practices,identify gaps, risks, and opportunities as well as to identify newsuppliers and develop a robust supplier base.Supplier and Contract Management / Supplier Relationship ManagementDevelop and launch RFQs / RFPs (Request for Quotation/Proposal) toselect suppliers in targeted categories.Analyze proposals and make recommendations to key internal upper managementstakeholders.Negotiate contracts with new vendors.Draft contracts and align on contractual language with Legal.Manage suppliers to ensure business needs are met and maintain SupplierRelationship Management to improve supplier performance.Develop and implement performance indicators, monitor suppliers, andsupport continuous improvement.Strategies:Execute and drive the sourcing strategy of industrial services and supplies,in collaboration with business needs (CBU Operations, Performances andProjects (OPP) teams, Plant Directors and Maintenance Managers).Propose best quality, time, and cost solutions according to strategies.Manage supplier selection, sourcing and contracting.Accountable for the negotiations within the manufacturing operationsbudget(s).Negotiate, implement, and manage contracts including localimplementation, contract compliance, supplier performance measurement,contract status and balance monitoring.Secure supply of investments on time: risk analysis, contingencyplanning, quality, and service level.

Supportmanufacturing teams with enterprise projects or crisis solving situations.Outside Danone: create strong, trusting relationships with applicablesuppliers, to leverage knowledge, skills, and innovation capabilities.Project Management:The chosen candidate will support and lead productivity projects by respectingthe budgets / schedules / quality standards of Danone, using appropriatetools.Participate in Global initiatives/projects led by Group Danone to implementcost out and value generation for the business.Monitor, review and communicate projects status (with respect tocontractual commitments of the supplier).Anticipate and alert key stake holders in case of non-compliance with thecontractual commitments.Develop a sustainable process between the country business un t (CBU) andSuppliers teams with a focus on delivering key operations objectives.Supplier Evaluation and Relationship Management:Evaluate suppliers in tandem with Manufacturing Operations on project scopesusing the Supplier Performance Evaluation template.Define the objectives to improve performance and define the necessary actionplans.Manage the implementation of defined action plans.Conduct regular business reviews with strategic suppliers.Budget & Productivity Management:Manage overall spend for assigned categories.Establish the budget along with Manufacturing Operations and manage risks forrespective areas through work with Finance, Maintenance, and Industrialstakeholders.Update/Create, maintain tools to track the performance of theManufacturing sourcing team of North America.The tools include but not limited to:Spend under contractSpend that can be shifted to strategic vendorsRebate trackerProductivity trackerContract statusContract document archive controlThe base compensation range for this position is$75,000-113,000commensurate with experience.
