Your Role: TheDistribution Associate 2 - 1st Shift role at MilliporeSigma inMilwaukee, WI plays a critical role in the fulfillment of customerorders through the activities of receiving, picking, packing, andshipping of life science materials. Starting pay rate is \$21.40/hour.Job duties include: 1st Shift Hours: Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 3pm andFriday 6am - 10am. Load and unload freight Operate equipment to producedocuments for workload Locate, move, deliver or return all materials toproper areas Prepares materials for shipment Accurately document allmovement of materials Audit inventory locations to maintain inventoryand location accuracy Verifies chemicals, catalog number, lot number,special requests information, unit size and weights against orderdocumentation found in packing instructions Prints and applies allrequired labels and markings to box to comply with hazardous materialsregulations Condenses, straightens, and maintains warehouse areas Workswith team leads and supervisors to troubleshoot systems issues Reportsunsafe or potentially unsafe hazards to team leads or any member ofmanagement Miscellaneous duties and tasks as assigned PhysicalAttributes: May involve standing for long periods of time, operatingpowered industrial equipment, and lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted WhoYou Are Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED PreferredQualifications: 1+ years of fulfillment, customer service, orwarehousing experience Strong professional communication skills tointeract with all levels of staff, both orally and written Ability towork quickly and adjust to changing priorities in a fast-pacedenvironment Proficiency with computers, scanners, printers, and shippingequipment Must follow all good distribution practices (GDP), whereapplicable.
