　　OT provides educational occupational therapy services to students birth through age twenty-one.) Essential duties and responsibilities:Screen and/or evaluate students who have been referred to occupational therapy.Train special and general education staff, parent and other team members on specific interventions.Consult and collaborate with teachers and other specialists. Implement educational plans as described on individual IEPs and provide information for building staff as needed. Provide monitoring, consultation, direct/indirect occupational therapy for students. Maintain close communication with classroom teachers, other staff and parents concerning students performance. Maintain accurate records. Participate in designated team meetings. Schedule occupational therapy evaluation and service times/locations with teachers and building principals. Develop and provide formal and informal in-service programs for teachers and parents regarding OT. Maintain appropriate records and reports. Collect data on progress on goals and objectives. Conduct assessments and write comprehensive report results. Act as liaison between school district and community agencies.
