The Dispersion Equipment Operator is a well-trained production operator that supports the West Dispersions area of the plant.

  Job Responsibilities

  Safely, efficiently, and cleanly operate West area equipment to remove queue and meet schedule needs.Read batch cards, manufacturing instructions, SOP's, and supporting documents.Record process parameters as directed by batch documentation.Complete inspections as directed by equipment documentation.Use SAP to accurately record inventory and material use.Coordinate and support project goals.Read and update reconciliation reports.Monitor and replenish oven-loaded inventory as necessary to meet schedule deadlines.Support training of new operators.Use effective time management to maximize output and reduce cycle time.Work in a team environment with supervisors, co-workers, other departments to help improve overall effectiveness.Operate forklifts and drum trucks (two-wheel, four-wheel, handcarts).Use grind gauges and thermometers.Stand (up to 95% of the time), bend 90 degrees (up to 50% of the time), walk (up to 75% of the time), push/pull (up to 75% of the time), lift (up to 50% of the time), and climb stairs (up to 25% of the time).Lift/carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds (up to 50% of the time).Work in all weather conditions.Work ExperienceRequiredEight months Parker Lord Chemical experience and documented completion of the Parker Lord Manufacturing Assistant training program or two years of chemical production experience.EducationRequiredHigh school diploma or equivalent.Must be a US Citizen or have US Permanent Resident Status
