Our client in Virginia is in need of a dispatcher who is highly motivated, dependable, mechanically inclined, and results driven to make a difference for the customers they serve. The dispatchers arrange for the distribution of products that make everyday life easier for their customers! Class A Tanker Transport Dispatchers should understand basic maintenance procedures, feel comfortable with e-logging systems, and truck equipment repairs as you will assist with maintenance planning and truck repairs. Class A Tanker Transport Dispatchers must be highly ethical and ensure their drivers equipment and logs are in compliance with State, Federal and Local law. Dispatch drivers to ensure efficient use of company fleet and independent contractors. Maintain relationships with independent contractors. Maintain record of mileage, fuel used, repairs made, and other expenses. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with government rules and regulations and files paperwork in support of this compliance as needed.
