Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Operations Center Dispatcher . The Security Operations Center Dispatcher has high visibility and is directly accountable for the effective and efficient flow of information from the Security Operations Center (SOC) and Control Rooms to the Corporate Security Management. The SOC is a 24/7 operation which provides the Security Operations Team with a comprehensive monitoring approach to provide broad visibility of activity across the enterprise, leverages intelligence from several systems and technology databases that provide advanced correlation, and analysis capabilities to deliver a prioritized list of actionable security incidents to the Security Operations Team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Alarm monitoring and response; sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons
Access control; permit authorized persons to enter property and monitors entrances and exits
Customer service; provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
Report writing; investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required by the post
Alarm monitoring and response; sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons
Access control; permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits
Dispatch, communicate and rely information to/from/with medical first responders during emergency calls/events
Keep shift supervisors informed of learned or known issues related to the site(s) security.
Maintain current inventory in Fire Crib
Prepare equipment for shipping offsite
Receive equipment back from vendor and integrate into current stock
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
Work experience must include of the following:
Demonstrated analytic and critical thinking skills and ability to prepare reports
Ability to prioritize workload based on urgency
Demonstrated high level of competency with advanced computer systems (e.g., hardware, software, and networks)
Ability to communicate effectively with IT and Security Systems professionals
Demonstrated ability to operate radio, telephone equipment and/or console monitors
Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment while possibly working under pressure
