  About the Role

  This highly-experienced, dynamic and motivated leader will have a good grasp of the unique challenges and priorities of research funders and governments. They will also have the ability to create and execute effective marketing strategies to achieve business goals. **This position can be home based in the US (EST or CST) or the UK

  Responsibilities

  Conducting market research to grasp global research funders and government's requirements, preferences, and challenges.

  Monitoring other businesses carefully and modify tactics as necessary to establish an advantage.

  Aligning A&G Funders and Government go-to-market strategy with a long-term product marketing plan. Creating and maintaining a 'go-to-market' view for Marketing to improve planning, development, execution, and feedback.

  Segmenting the target audience into specific categories and/or personas to tailor marketing efforts effectively.

  Addressing unique requirements of funders and governments by positioning solutions, data, capabilities, and services.

  Creating compelling value propositions that resonate with the target segment in target markets. Developing clear and impactful messaging that communicates the value of Research Intelligence portfolio.

  Collaborating with sales, product, and marketing teams for seamless execution of initiatives. Building and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, funding organizations, and industry partners.

  Maintaining a single-view dashboard to track success metrics for channel and commercial goals.

  Requirements

  Understand unique research funder and government objectives and obstacles globally.

  Be able to think strategically to develop effective long-term marketing plans aligned with business objectives.

  Have excellent communication skills to articulate marketing strategies, convey ideas, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  Have the ability to solve problems and make informed decisions in difficult circumstances.

  Be able to collaborate effectively with sales, product management, Research Networks, and customer support teams.

  Be able to influence and gain buy-in from stakeholders across the marketing team and organization.

  Be adept at analyzing data to make data-driven decisions and refine strategies.
