  About the Team As part of the larger AP and Instruction Department, the Digital Transformation Team is a strong and collaborative group of product owners, product managers, content experts, and product development professionals. The Digital Transformation team is responsible for managing a portfolio of digital assessment and instructional products and leading the work to transition paper assessment programs to the College Board's digital assessment platform. This team works closely with colleagues in technology, user experience, operations, assessment design & development, psychometrics and program management to design and develop digital solutions that meet the needs of our users. About the Opportunity As the Product Manager for Digital Testing, you will create a vision and maintain a roadmap for the Digital SAT Suite of Assessments based on trends in the market, customer needs, and organizational priorities. Your focus will specifically be on serving the needs of College Board's state contract customers. You are motivated, and serve as a proactive leader who operates well with excitement in managing details, solving problems and getting things done. You are eager to solicit, analyze, and action feedback from our state and district partners, schools, students and internal College Board functions such as customer service and research. You constantly seek useful information that can shape our products for the good of the user; and build strong, productive relationships while guiding your teams and stakeholders to produce tremendous value for our customers. Responsibilities of the role Product Vision, Roadmap, & Strategy (40%) * Develop and communicate the product vision and roadmap to our state and district customers and maintain the roadmap as customer, market needs and internal priorities evolve * Understand and support program goals, while also understanding state customer needs and validating solutions * Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities to reduce operational complexity and risk * Establish and maintain a deep understanding of the market including the competitive landscape, trends in the market, customer needs and market requirements * Gather market data and user feedback consistently to shape the product roadmap and improve user experience * Complete market research and maintain a competitive analysis of other state digital delivery platforms and solutions * Lead new product and feature development through developing business cases and rationale for new product investments * Ensure state requirements are understood and incorporated into design of new features * Lead cross-functional teams to deliver new product offering into the market * Collaborate with teams across the organization to develop a go-to-market strategy and launch plan. Deliver Roadmap Priorities (30%) * Understand and deliver the highest priority features on the state digital testing product roadmap that are aligned to the product vision and organizational priorities * Proactively define and communicate Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for the product that drive action focused on outcomes (vs. outputs) * Understand, prioritize, and manage the flow of initiatives and features and participate in planning activities * Collaborate with product owners to define release plans and gain a shared understanding of work within development teams backlogs * Provide feedback to product owners during demonstrations of product designs and completed work Collaboration & Stakeholder Relationships (30%) * Collaborate with product owners and CB internal functions to develop and update external and internal training, support materials, manuals, marketing materials, state requests for proposals (RFPs), and communications for new product features. * Communicate product updates related to our igital testing platform to internal and external stakeholders, including state contract customers * Serve as a subject matter expert for College Board's digital testing platform in state contract customer meetings * Collaborate with internal functional areas to identify and implement changes to the product's implementation processes, program policies, and operational support model. About You You have: * A Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; * 5+ years relevant experience, specifically in K-12 digital assessment or educational technology; experience working on state or large district contracts preferred; * You are the opposite of passive or "pass the request from X through to team Y" people * You bring a customer-focused and organizationally aware mindset; inquisitive and possess tremendous learning agility * Experience working in an Agile product development work environment * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to complete complex tasks About Our Benefits and Compensation College Board offers a competitive benefits and compensation program that attracts top talent looking to make a difference in education. The hiring range for a new employee in this position is $112,000.00 to $170,000.College Board differentiates salaries by location so where you live will narrow the portion of this range in which you can expect a salary. Your salary will be carefully determined based on your location, relevant experience, the external labor market, and the pay of College Board employees in similar roles.
