ABOUT THIS POSITION

　　The Director of Product Management is responsible for building great products and for making decisions that lead to highly valuable and viable solutions. This role will report directly to our Vice President of Product Management.

　　WHAT YOU'LL DO

　　Aligning product roadmap with business goals - ensure that the product goals align with the overall business goals and company strategy.

　　Responsible for managing a team of individual contributor product managers including staffing and coaching strong product managers.

　　Responsible for assisting with quarterly planning and assigning objectives (problems to solve) to product teams.

　　Assisting Leadership Team in coordinating with operations, product, and technology to bring together divergent ideas and convince various stakeholders to rally behind a single product vision.

　　Working closely with internal and external resources to define opportunities/solution requirements that meet changing market needs and ensure customer satisfaction and product quality.

　　Demonstrate servant-based leadership and knowledge of leading by context rather than control.

　　Proven track record over multiple years as an individual contributor product manager responsible for value and viability of solutions.

　　Proven track record of coaching and developing other people.

　　Demonstrate a clear understanding of your role as the primary coach of your product managers, and how that differs from managing products directly.

　　WHAT YOU'LL NEED

　　You know how to execute and like to roll up your sleeves to get things done

　　You are comfortable in front of a whiteboard and can describe complex information in a concise but thorough fashion

　　Problem solving skills; able to analyze a problem and design creative solutions

　　Attention to detail; extraordinary eye for usability and the customer experience

　　Excellent written communication skills; able to succinctly convey complex ideas through the written word

　　Great people skills; able to facilitate, negotiate and persuade stakeholders

　　Flexible and agile; able to rapidly adapt to changing situations and inputs

　　Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery.

　　Proven ability to go deep and quickly learn new domains, as well as solid understanding of all major parts of the business.
