  Job Title: Director, Paid Media & Audience Growth

  The mission of the Digital Marketing department is to drive fandom, music consumption, D2C purchases, and social conversation/engagement using innovative digital marketing strategies. The team is responsible for all aspects of an artist’s digital presence including digital narrative development, digital advertising, social content ideation, influencer campaigns, digital advertising, CRM, social/digital partner activations, content seeding, websites, etc. We work directly with the artists to translate the vision of their music into groundbreaking digital campaigns and provide in-depth creative consulting geared toward growing a highly engaged fanbase!

  Your role:

  The Director, Paid Media & Audience Growth will act as an in-house specialist to develop, implement, analyze, and report CRM and paid campaigns for our artists and releases. This person will collaborate closely with external agencies and strategize with internal WMG teams to develop best-in-class campaigns that drive streaming, audience growth, and eCommerce.

  Here you’ll get to:

  Own the CRM strategy and implementation across the organization to develop targetable fan bases, drive streaming, drive D2C purchases, and build fan dedication/retention.

  Establish CRM goals and KPIs for each artist and a road map to achieve them.

  Collaborate with digital strategists to build out email, website, and SMS campaign strategies to support all new music launches and artist awareness campaigns.

  Develop weekly CRM campaign performance report that includes performance and benchmarks.

  Develop strategies to maximize WMG first-party data sources to use for Warner Records artists, and expand data across non-owned platforms including Discord, Reddit, and touring agencies.

  Develop CRM best practice guides to share with internal executives, artists, and management acting as a point-of-resource to all the other departments in the company relating to CRM and ensuring our strategies are at the forefront of innovation.

  Own the responsibility for retention campaigns from conceptualization to analysis. This will include idea generation, proposal preparation, supervising the production process, execution, and coordinating with other departments.

  Strategize and steer paid media campaigns for our artists to ensure successful campaign rollout, monitor campaign performance, and ensure high quality and accuracy.

  Monitor media campaigns to make ongoing and proactive optimization recommendations (based on results), with the ability to present reporting to teams and artists.

  Effectively manage paid media budgets and budgeting requests.

  Communicate and coordinate with other departments to ensure all deliverables are met.

  About you:

  4+ years of CRM experience working with email and mobile CRM programs.

  Knowledge of data analysis and budgeting.

  Motivated, innovative, and meticulous with a high standard for quality and able to multitask across multiple campaigns and projects at once while working under tight deadlines.

  Demonstrate excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to effectively interact with varying personalities and styles

  Strong analytical and quantitative skills with experience interpreting data to drive decision-making.

  Experience either working in or with media agencies.

  Passion for a wide variety of music artists and genres along with knowledge of how to speak to their fanbases.

  Salary Range

  $95,000 to $110,000 Annually

  Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
