Work with your team to implement the right processes and practices across our organization to help ensure flight and product efficiency.We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director of Operations to lead and oversee the strategic planning, execution, and optimization of StandardAero's operational functions. The Senior Director of Operations will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring the overall success of our organization. This leadership position requires a seasoned professional who can navigate complex challenges, drive cross-functional collaboration, and contribute to the achievement of our company's goals.What you'll do:Develop and execute a comprehensive operations strategy aligned with StandardAero's objectives, focusing on scalability, cost-effectiveness, and continuous improvementProvide visionary leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a diverse team of operational managersFoster strong partnerships and collaboration with senior leaders, including Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, to align operational efforts and drive holistic business successIdentify opportunities for cross-functional process optimization and lead initiatives to enhance overall efficiency and effectivenessAnalyze existing operational processes and identify areas of improvement, streamlining workflows, reducing bottlenecks, and enhancing productivityImplement best practices and standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and high-quality outputRegularly report on operational performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership teamIdentify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practicesStay current on emerging technologies, industry trends, and innovative practices to drive operational excellence, evaluate/implement technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support business growthLiaises with operation leaders to balance corporate manpower requirements and local resource shortages or surpluses. Supports capacity planning and resource utilization reporting tools to assist the operations group in balancing resource requirementsPart-take in continuous improvement project plans with operations to maximize the financial impact of projects with site benefitsReviews, prioritizes, and participates in functional support group projects to better meet corporate and site operations goalsExercises authority in hiring, training, career development, performance appraisal, salary adjustments, promotion, discipline, health & safety and the general employee relations of direct reportsWhat skills you will use:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferredProven track record of at least 10-12 years of progressive leadership experience in operations management, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role.Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsExcellent interpersonal, communication, and team-building abilitiesSolid financial acumen and experience managing budgetsExperience in a fast-paced, dynamic industry is highly desirableStrong analytical skills with ability to use data to drive insights and decisionsBenefits that make life better:Comprehensive Healthcare401(k) with 100% company match
