JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Job Purpose You will partner with companyleadership and management teams in managing the Stoughton TruckingDriver fleet, safety, performance, and all equipment and associatedmaintenance and finished products from our OEM manufacturer. EssentialDuties and Responsibilities Strategic Business Planning and ManagementMonitor all Safety systems and track safety KPIs to ensure Driver safetyon the road and drive the priority of safety through all businesspractices. Envisions, articulates, and leads the fleet of 30-50 CDLDriver to ensure stable supply chain functioning to our sister companyand customers. Manages all fleet equipment which includes companyvehicles, forklifts, flatbed and dry van trucks, and yard trucks. Thisincludes the maintenance and the acquisition of new equipment whenneeded. Align with our insurance provider to optimize coverage, costsavings, claims, and returns Minimize loss through driver training andprescriptive planning Directs planning of driver employment andacquisition of fleet equipment to scale OEM forecast General ManagementOversees and adheres to workplace conduct, risk management andcompliance practices within the office including regulatory compliance(SOX), responding to internal audit requests, and implementing processchanges as necessary Serves as the direct supervisor of all CDL Drivers,Fleet Maintenance Manager, Yard Drivers, and a Safety Coordinator. Thiscurrently includes approximately 55 direct reports.
