Responsibilities:
Directs the organization's Quality function and develops operational programs, policies, and processes.
Develops strategies meant to assist the business in meeting its critical goals and objectives in the most efficient manner possible
Establishes an organizational quality management system and monitors progress against strategic quality related goals.
Identifies potential quality failures, establishes methods for evaluating quality of raw materials or components, in progress goods, processes or operations and oversees development and implementation of corrective actions.
Solicits internal and external feedback with the goal of continuously improving processes or products.
May represent the organization during external inspections or audits.
Oversees recurring or daily functions or processes necessary for business execution and identifies opportunities for improvement or efficiencies.
Approves and allocates resources based on business priorities.
Leads and directs the work of other employees (Directors, Managers, Supervisors, Associates, etc.) Responsible for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination.
Contributes to strategic planning, direction, and goal setting for the department or function.
Recommends policies, practices, and procedures that have a significant impact on the organization
Functions as a management representative
Executive management responsible in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsible for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, termination .
Requires breadth of organizational, professional field, and industry knowledge. Ability to integrate critical information from several diverse areas. Champions advanced strategies and concepts.
Manages activities of a functional area which has at least 2 departments or major functions through managers and/or experienced employees. Responsible for cost, method, and employee results.
Judgement is required in resolving complex problems based on experience.
Consults senior executive management / group board members of company-wide initiatives and acts as spokesperson on matters regarding policy, capability, and strategy to the organization.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.
10-15 years related experience, plus a minimum of 5 years management experience required.
Applicable industry/professional certification preferred.
Occasional business travel required, Valid driver's license and passport, Secrecy and invention agreement and non-compete agreement
