　　Job Summary:

　　This position is primarily responsible directing the overall operations of the Nursing Department in accordance with current state and federal regulations. Additional duties include overseeing scheduling of staff, budget proposal, and supervisory roles.

　　Job Requirements:

　　Registered Nurse, seven (7) to ten (10) years long-term care nursing experience with Registered Nurse license required; or equivalent combination of education and experience, MSN preferred. Incumbent should be able to analyze information received and lead staff to achieve positive outcomes for residents, possess high-quality verbal and written communication ability, strong interpersonal and leadership skills, and be knowledgeable of nursing principles and state and federal health regulations. Must be proficient in the operation of computer applications.

　　Key Responsibilities:

　　Nursing Operation

　　Supervises the delivery of all nursing operations and functions of Health Center on a daily basis and ensures effective and efficient resident care.

　　Regulation Compliance

　　Assures the Nursing Department complies with all state, federal and OSHA health regulations/standards on a daily basis.

　　Acts as a leader and manager of assigned positions; ensuring productivity, efficiency and accuracy in work performed.

　　Performance and Professionalism

　　Maintains professional presence when representing Ingleside exhibits degree of professionalism consistent with standards in performance, behavior, and appearance.

　　Professional Development

　　Demonstrates professional development/skills competency in all activities.
