　　Job Summary and Qualifications

　　You will assume 24-hour responsibility in directing and coordinating safe, efficient, and therapeutically effective nursing care for patients on the assigned unit/ department

　　You will assist in helping to drive local and organizational wide initiatives and delegate functions in compliance with hospital and nursing service policies, processes protocols and procedures

　　You will assist in the management of unit budget and participate in and comply with the hospitals service excellence/ patient experience program

　　You will provide safe and effective patient care based upon the nursing process, standards of practice and in compliance with hospital policies, protocols and procedures as indicated

　　What qualifications you will need:

　　Graduate of school of a nursing required; BSN Required

　　MSN within 3 years of hire, transfer, and/or currently in position

　　Current unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nevada required

　　Obtain National Certification within 1 year; current valid CPR issued American Heart Association

　　Proficiency in general nursing procedures and skills in managing general medical/surgical patients required

　　Proficiency in cardiac nursing procedures and skills, including cardiac dysrhythmia required; minimum of 2.5 years recent medical/ surgical experience, including at least 1 year of telemetry, intermediate care, or adult critical care required
