Description

　　Our reputable client is seeking a Director of Finance to join the company. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, management, technology, analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills as part of the management team. This may be the role for you if you are an experienced VP/Director of Finance looking for a challenging role at an established company.

　　Your responsibilities in this role

　　Aid in developing department goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures- Evaluate and sustain forecasting and budgeting models

　　Comply with all budgetary reporting requirements, including local, state, and federal

　　Supervise all financial reporting preparation

　　Design, establish, and maintain an organizational structure to effectively accomplish the departments goals and objectives

　　Oversee daily operations of the finance and accounting department

　　Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisions

　　Manage the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts

　　Oversee all hiring aspects of finance staff, including training and retention

　　Collaborate with department managers to develop five-year business plans

　　Decide on benchmarks for comparing the operating and financial performance

　　Own financial planning and budget management functions

　　Supervise risk and insurance management

　　Perform analysis on operating results, comparing against budget

　　Requirements

　　15+ years of finance and accounting experience

　　MBA or CPA is preferred

　　Manufacturing and/Or Consumer Products Background Desired

　　High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel

　　Knowledge of financial and accounting reporting systems

　　Prior experience with finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

　　Strong analytical thinking and a detail-oriented mindset

　　Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
