Purpose of Position: The Director of Employment Services reportsdirectly to the Vice President, Human Resources & will work closely withthe HR leadership team to drive HR initiatives related to employeerelations while collaborating with labor relations across the Cape CodHealthcare (CCHC) system. Maintain companywide employee & laborrelations practices which strive to maximize performance, minimize risk,& expedite decision making. Description Leads & develops a broad &dispersed HR team across multiple locations by attracting, retaining, &motivating the best talent. Mentors & fosters growth of employmentservices team. Evaluates & provides ongoing development of HR talent toensure that value added HR advice & counsel is provided to staff &management consistently across the organization; Develops relationships& leverages resources with key HR shared services areas (e.g., benefits,compensation, labor relations, occupational health, learning &professional development, etc.) as well as with key stakeholders acrossthe organization to ensure comprehensive & quality services aredelivered in a coordinated manner; Manage, oversee, & conduct thorough,prompt workplace investigations to respond timely to employeecomplaints/issues with guidance of our Sr. Legal Counsel. Utilizes aconsistent & thoughtful approach throughout the investigatory process;Trains, advises & develops Employee Relations team in conductingeffective investigations leading to timely resolution. Ensure consistentapplication of workplace conduct expectations, investigatory processes,disciplinary actions, coaching opportunities & other remedial actions;Assist with developing & implementing effective & cost-efficient HRoperational plans in support of strategic initiatives. Partner withleadership to proactively build a culture that aligns with the strategicgoals of the organization; Monitors internal workforce trends toproactively identify gaps & determine appropriate solutions. Analyzesrelevant measures & prepares presentations & reports to help in decisionmaking & strategy development; Lead or assist in the creation &/oramendment of employment-related policies; Directs the utilization ofCCHC?s performance management & employee relations computer systems &assumes responsibility as \"Business Owner\" of these systems ensuringproper documentation, training guides & communication. Manages CCHC?sperformance evaluation program, providing training & ensuring adoption &completion; Coordinates with VP Human Resources &/or Sr. Legal Counselon advising management on the application of employment regulations,personnel policies & practices, & labor laws for both represented &non-union staff; Assist Labor Relations in providing guidance toLeadership in developing appropriate collective bargaining strategies &priorities to support department & CCHC operational interests; Providesa full range of consultation services to CCHC stakeholders on employmentpolicies & practices. Collaborates with Labor Relations in advising onrules & practices under applicable collective bargaining agreements;Maintains up-to-date knowledge of employment laws, regulatoryrequirements, HR Trends & technology; Challenges current workingpractices; identifies process improvement opportunities & presentsrecommendations & solutions to management. Engages & commits to theorganization?s culture of continuous improvement by activelyparticipating, supporting, & promoting CCHC Pillars of Excellence;Consistently provides service excellence to all patients, familymembers, visitors, volunteers & co-workers; Qualifications Bachelor?sdegree required; Master\'s degree preferred; PHR or SPHR designation aplus; Minimum of 7 years in an HR Management level role with extensiveexperience conducting workplace investigations & handling complexemployee relations matters; See complete qualifications when applying.
