Description Develops, implements and administers the compliance strategy for Revo Health and Revo Clients, focusing on areas with risk to the organization. This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm out of our Golden Valley, MN office. Must be a local resident of Minnesota. Revo Health is a professional services company that partners with multiple healthcare groups to deliver exceptional patient care. This position will be employed through Revo Health, working closely with Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health) and its operating divisions. Essential Functions: Lead the development and execution of a strategic plan and compliance program for the compliance department across Revo and Revo's clients. Oversee the Privacy functions including Privacy Officer/Health Information Management Supervisor and staff by providing leadership and strategic direction. Assess necessary implementation activities to ensure organization and client compliance with relevant state and federal regulations including but not limited to Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark, HIPAA and 21st Century Cures Act. Assess, develop, implement, and audit internal compliance programs, including the development and administration of compliance-related policies and procedures. Working with Legal Counsel, interpret and administer regulatory changes required for Revo and Revo's clients. Maintain communication/distribution channels related to compliance policies and procedures, including but not limited to the LINK (intranet). Serve as a liaison between company, clients and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation agency standards. Investigate potential compliance violations and provides consultative leadership and support to necessary parties to take corrective action as needed. Stay abreast of regulatory and industry leading best practices and brings them to the attention of the leadership team for innovative application across company and clients. Develop and leverage partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to meet business needs. Partner with Ambulatory Service Center Quality Team, Information Technology, Human Resources, Risk Management, and Safety to ensure alignment and seamless execution of policies and procedures and enforcement of such. Identify an implement strategy to resolve problems or barriers that could hinder successful implementation of compliance activities. Review business materials requiring compliance input and advise internal partners on compliant strategies and plans. Maintain tracking for compliance related issues. Assist in development of metrics, preparing reports on investigations, findings, and remedial measures. Research and prepare recommendations on state and federal requirements, providing summary reports to leadership for decision-making. Serve as a trainer and resource within Revo and for Revo clients for consultation, development and education related to compliance and clinical protocols or procedures. Track and maintain company and client personnel training and policy requirement and/or attestations as necessary. Chair the organizations (including Revo clients) compliance committee. Collaborate with outside legal counsel related to compliance issues and topics. In partnership with the Safety Coordinator, performs onsite walk-throughs and inspections at Revo Client sites to ensure compliance with regulations. All other duties as assigned. Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree required Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree preferred 3+ years experience in a related role required Prior healthcare experience preferred Experience working with federal and state healthcare regulatory laws Essential Requirements: Ability to: Comply with company policies, procedures, practices and business ethics guideline .
