The Director of Clinical Operations and Experiential Learning is responsible for ensuring appropriate and sufficient clinical placements and experiential learning opportunities for all OU undergraduate and graduate nursing students. The Director of Clinical Operations and Experiential Learning has the following primary responsibilities:
Oversees the operations of allSON clinical support services;Obtains, maintains, visits, and evaluates clinical sites;Serves as the liaison between theSON and all clinical sites.Hires, orients/onboards, supervises, and evaluates part-time clinical faculty;Collaborates with the program directors and course faculty to ensure that all clinical placements support the core educational competencies, professional practice standards, and curriculum requirements of the various graduate and undergraduate academic programs at theSON.Oversees experiential learning in theSON to ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
