Description:

　　This company is looking for a civil engineer to come lead and grow their civil engineering department. multi-disciplinary land development consulting firm serving the three southern New England states (CT, MA, RI) from our home office in South Windsor, Connecticut. This firm encompases Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, Landscape Architecture, and Land Planning services for private- and public-sector clients. They work on a wide variety of exciting projects including mixed-use and multi-family developments, single-family subdivisions, retail/commercial developments, educational, houses of worship, industrial/warehouse buildings, government facilities, and recreational facilities. This candidate will be lead the civil design team from concept to complete site design. Mentor civil engineering and other design staff. Coordinate projects with internal departments and external consultants. Hands-on design assisting in the preparation of site design plans using Hydrocad. Conduct calculations and report preparation for storm drainage and stormwater management and water quality treatment systems. Interface with clients, community officials, consultants, including presenting site plans to local regulatory boards and commissions. Create a great learning environment for supervised employees in order to advance their careers.

　　Must Haves:

　　1.) Active P.E. License from any state

　　2.) 10+ years working as a civil engineer

　　3.) Expierence leading a team of junior engineers

　　4.) Expierence presenting to town boards and commissions
