  Job Description:

  The primary responsibilities of the Marketing and Experience Director - M&M'S Stores role are:

  Strategic development, team oversight and world-class execution of the M&M'S Stores external marketing strategy globally, to drive quality traffic and build M&M'S brand equity. In close collaboration with the One M&M'S ecosystem team and our agency partners, architect and bring-to-life a highly immersive In-Store Experience Design that is Purpose-led, will span a range of store formats, and will drive the business forward while offering the richest expression of the brand. This will include delivering both the right future-back evergreen experience(s) and the ongoing in-store activation calendar, both of which must be highly connected to the M&M'S ecosystem.

  This position will sit on the M&M'S Stores Leadership Team and collaborate closely with the One M&M'S and Mars Snacking Brand & Content teams, the M&M'S Stores Operations, Store Development and Product teams, as well as the regional teams to deliver a cohesive, highly immersive, and Purpose-led brand experience wherever our consumer engages/shops. Through these collaborative efforts, along with effective leadership of this individual's direct reports (consisting of external marketing, visual merchandising, and in-store digital content), this role will ensure that all experiences, creative campaigns, and brand activations drive business performance, contribute to building a connected brand ecosystem, and are aligned with the global brand standards, voice and tone.

  What are we looking for?

  Minimum Requirements:

  Minimum 10 years' experience in retail marketing or marketing function with proven results developing and driving traffic generating programs.Balance of experience developing and effectively deploying external and in-store programs. Bachelor's degree preferred or appropriate mix of education and work experience required.Experience in utilizing data-led decision making, driving clear financial and brand KPIs,Experience working with and influencing executive stakeholders to: Shape projects to address business problems, frame possibilities, set expectations and facilitate alignment on requirements, process timeline, and set and execute against clear deliverables. Demonstrated leadership and strategic direction to cultivate a successful, agile and effective team with cross functional and ecosystem support.

  What will be your key responsibilities?

  Create/align the strategy and drive execution of the M&M'S Stores external marketing strategy to drive quality traffic and build brand equity.Deploy global store marketing strategies with on-brand creative assets, supported by key performance indicators (KPIs) that are trackable and demonstrate both effectiveness and efficiency.Partner with internal teams to explore new product ideas, contextually & culturally relevant campaigns, collaborations, and 'acts' that engage consumers in a deeper way (creating a greater sense of Belonging through the lens of Funkind).Architect and bring-to-life highly immersive store experiences that are Purpose-led, flex across store formats, enable store teams to operate effectively, and build the business and brand.Responsible for driving immersive store experiences from conception through execution while ensuring evaluation and continuous improvements are always made.Partner closely with the One M&M'S ecosystem to ensure a consistent, connected, and compelling experience across channels and touchpoints (globally, regionally & locally). Oversee strategy and execution of bringing the M&M'S brand to life in stores through experiential elements, visual merchandising, graphic design, and digital content.Foster a culture of continuous experimentation and improvement, by leveraging consumer and analytical insights capabilities and mindset, through an ongoing test and learn approach.
