  The Opportunity

  At Adobe, we are applying cutting edge AI to reimagine document experiences and transform knowledge work. We are building Generative AI experiences for document comprehension, creation and workflows. We are looking for an exceptional leader to shape our strategy across various areas, including LLMs, Conversational Experiences, and large-scale experimentation.

  What You'll Do

  Layout a multi-horizon strategy to guide our research and development efforts based on the latest and greatest in Generative AI. Iterate on this strategy as the field evolves and new barriers are breached.

  Collaborate with Product Management to bring AI based Assistive experiences to life. Socialize what's possible now or in near future to inform the roadmap.

  Be a bridge between Adobe's research labs, product management and engineering teams to align and amplify their efforts.

  Hire and lead a diverse team of world-class ML scientists and engineers while being responsible for driving all aspects of ML product development: ML modeling, data/ML pipelines, quality evaluations, productization, and ML Ops.

  Create and instill a team culture that focuses on sound scientific processes and encourages deep engagement with our customers.

  Handle project scope and risks with data, analytics and creative problem solving.

  What You Need to Succeed

  A minimum of ten years of technical leadership experience in applying modern AI/ML techniques to build ML features/products.

  Experience with LLMs and Generative AI is a plus.

  Proven management experience with highly diverse and global teams.

  Demonstrated ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  Proven ability to effectively manage in a high growth, matrixed organization.

  Track record of delivering high quality, industry leading products on time.

  Track record of delivering cloud-scale, data-driven products and services that are widely adopted with large customer bases.

  An ability to think strategically, look around corners, and create a vision for the current quarter, the year, and five years down the road.

  A relentless pursuit of great customer experiences and continuous improvements to the product.

  Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $163,900 -- $335,200 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

  At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

  In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
