The Global Demand Center (GDC) within the Cloud Marketing Group leads the marketing transformation of Microsoft’s largest and fastest growing commercial businesses. We acquire millions of new contacts annually, nurture them into leads and sales recommendations using modern, computational marketing, advanced analytics and marketing automation. Our globally scaled programs create highly personalized and relevant experiences and content across the customer’s buying journey, delivering a connected sales and marketing experience.
Come be part of the Marketplace & ISV Journey team that is focused on guiding technology partners, often referred to as Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) from discovery and building on our cloud, and ultimately to publication on our marketplace, growth, and success. The Marketplace & ISV Journey team defines and drives the execution of our ISV and Marketplace business strategy. We will unify cross-Microsoft efforts to create opportunity and growth for breadth ISVs and a rich marketplace experience for customers using exceptional digital marketing, merchandising and commerce capabilities that make it easy to find, try and buy ISV applications.
This role will lead ISV Recruit and Engagement to include crafting go-to-market strategies to increase awareness and usage among key audiences, recruiting and engaging ISVs to build on the Microsoft Cloud and driving demand for programs that enable ISVs to build solutions, listed on our marketplace and grow their business.

Responsibilities
Developing and defining a comprehensive marketing strategy for ISVs that establishes Microsoft as the primary technology provider for ISVs to build their apps on the Microsoft Cloud and the latest AI technologies, publish on our commercial marketplace and ultimately grow their business.
Understand the value proposition for ISVs looking to build apps on the Microsoft Cloud, including building up to date competitive plans of other cloud platforms and marketplace providers.
Develop a content strategy for key ISV audiences including Business Decision Makers, Information Technology (IT) Decision Makers and Developers across the customer journey, and messaging and positioning that provides a compelling narrative, and content types and channels, distribution and promotion, and measures of success.
Create high quality, informative and engaging content that aligns with the messaging and objectives, and that is aligned to the customer journey stages, such as awareness, consideration, decision and support.
Devise a rationalization model for prioritizing the most valuable opportunities, with a transparent process to efficiently serve business group needs. Serve as the primary marketing liaison across our business groups to drive coordinated Microsoft Cloud messaging for ISVs. Leading product evangelism and product storytelling
Create compelling ISV reasons to believe, proof points and success stories.
Coordinate influencer marketing with proactive and reactive press and analyst engagement Driving awareness and adoption of commercial marketplace by ISVs through coordinated Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies, such as:
Connect into GDC scale motions to execute campaigns and drive adoption with publisher audiences through programs such as ISV Success
Surface compelling, consistent copy & content across the company’s digital destinations and social properties Own marketing and communications for launches, ISV events and other product moments
Work deeply with engineering to manage an editorial calendar of launches and product moments
Land messages and content across mediums (email, websites, community, newsletters and other partner & field communications, social properties etc.)

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business, product marketing, digital marketing, or integrated marketing.
OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 4+ years experience in business
OR equivalent experience
3 years of experience working with ISVs and/or Software as a Service (SaaS)/commercial marketplaces.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 12+ years experience in business
OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years marketing or sales experience
OR equivalent experience.
5+ years working in cloud computing, or related technologies
5+ of years of experience partnering across diverse teams & audiences (engineering, marketing, and partner executives, etc.)
Product Marketing IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $124,800 - $242,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $159,000 - $264,000 per year.
